Products and eligibility

We sell lighting products for delivery within the United Kingdom. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. Product descriptions, specifications, variant selections, dimensions and included components shown on the product page should be reviewed before ordering. Colour and appearance may vary slightly by screen.

Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we send confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance because of stock, pricing, payment, fraud-prevention, delivery or legal restrictions; any payment taken will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices shown to UK customers are in pounds sterling (GBP). The total price, delivery charge and available payment methods are shown before you place the order. Payment is due at checkout. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order and will offer you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

Delivery

We deliver only to the United Kingdom. Processing normally takes 1–3 business days and standard transit 5–9 business days, for a total estimate of 6–12 business days. Standard UK delivery is free. Dates are estimates; unless otherwise agreed, delivery will occur within 30 days. Risk passes when the goods are delivered to you or a person you identify. Please see our Shipping Policy.

Installation and safety

Hardwired lighting must be isolated from the electrical supply and installed by a competent electrician in accordance with the product instructions and applicable UK requirements. Check voltage, dimensions, ingress-protection rating, location suitability and included components before installation. Do not use a damaged product. Product-specific safety information takes priority over general website content.

Cancellation, returns and faults

UK consumers may cancel eligible distance-sale orders within 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. Lumeford also offers a 30-day return request period subject to the conditions in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Statutory rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are not affected.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or negligence. We are not responsible for business losses incurred by consumers, misuse, unauthorised modification or installation that ignores clear instructions, except where the law provides otherwise.

Complaints, law and disputes

Contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. These terms are governed by applicable law. Consumers retain mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under those protections.
